What do we mean by reinventing fish & chips?
The Chipped Potato is a family owned fish and chip shop established in 2014 by father, Ritchie Gorman, son, Stewart and daughter, Katherine. Fresh ingredients are all locally sourced and are cooked to order by friendly and experienced staff in our clean and modern premises in Knockmore Square and in Antrim Street, Lisburn. All of The Chipped Potato staff have experience working in fast food shops and are fully trained in customer service.
It means going back to the times when fresh, locally sourced ingredients where the norm and when cooking from fresh was the only way. While also looking to the future by adding new twists to old classics, inventing new dishes, or catering for wheat intolerances.
We aim to take the best from how it used to be and combine it with the best of today and tomorrow.
Reinventing doesn’t happen overnight – it is an ongoing process and it signifies our commitment to continuous improvement of the service we offer.
For your convenience The Chipped Potato has Free parking and accepts card payments. A delivery service is also available at certain times and telephone orders for collections are welcome.

Where possible the Chipped Potato buy their ingredients from Northern Ireland. Not only does our unique climate produce some top quality food, but it is important for both the environment and freshness that your food doesn’t travel long distances.
We continually evaluate the ingredients we use and we are always on the lookout for better.
